the highly anticipated picture a year in the making.....

DUN DUN DUN..DUUUUNNN.

haha, okay, it's not that fabulous. but I think it's one of my best works. :]

and I like it way better than my last psychedelic picture. you can really tell how much my art has matured over the last year, and this took WAY more longer than last year. cause there's so many steps to draw a picture like this.

first, I started thinking up the concept while listening to "Imagine" by John Lennon (haha, as if you didnt know!) and started drawing the person. then, I started sketching out the rest (which took forever, and I was in a moving vehicle the whole time). then I traced over everything for the initial lineart, then went back over and perfected the lineart so that the width of the line varried a lot. and then I colored. :]

I can't even tell you how long this took. over 10 hours, I believe. probably a bunch more. xD but I had a whole RV trip over a month to do it on, but it was hard at some points to draw in a bumpy moving vehicle (urgh).

so yeah, just incase your wondering, no, I have not ever, nor will I ever, done any illegal drugs of any sort. :] I GET HIGH OFF JUST PLAIN LIVING. <3 and I'm just creative? maybe? xD not.

so a lot of this stuff was random things I put in, but a lot of it has meaning. and now that I see it all, I think the random stuff has meaning too. I think maybe this sort of drawing kinda lets my subconscious mind into the conscious, to become aware of what I'm unaware of. kinda like acid in the 60s. minus the drugs. xD
